Welcome to God Paths,
the place for anyone who is curious is about religion. Whether you are an atheist, a hardcore holy
roller, agnostic, curious, or somewhere in between my main aim is to create a
place where you feel comfortable finding out the different ways people reach
out to God. This is not a devotional
site, an attempt to convert anybody, or an effort to explain why one belief
system is better than all the others. If
that’s what you are looking for, totally cool and there are plenty of sites out
there for you but the goal here is to welcome everyone because I don’t feel
there are nearly enough sites that do that.
As the author of the material here I have attempted to be as unbiased as possible so forgive me at times if you feel like I fail. The only exceptions may be when I come across a belief that has a record of being dangerous, I may choose to include a shout out to that fact along with everything else about the religion because the goal here is indeed to give you the facts.
And though everything is incredibly thoroughly researched I try to keep the atmosphere here very laid back because in general I think humans take religion much more seriously than God does and the lofty language of some theologians is frankly a huge turn-off to me.
Though the site is always growing I will freely admit I do know more about certain beliefs than others so if you have anything helpful to contribute I’m totally open. That said I hope you find the info here helpful and thanks so much for your support.
